Jeffrey Gluckstein
Athlete / Winner 2011
The Flower Cup holds a special place in my heart. Traveling to the Netherlands to compete was unforgettable, with the country's beauty adding to the experience. Between 2005 and 2013, I competed five times, creating cherished memories—including winning my first senior international competition there. The cheers after the kill bounce at the end of a routine remain pure joy.
The Flower Cup always felt like home, from the welcoming atmosphere to refueling with countless ham- and-cheese sandwiches— such a nostalgic staple!
One pivotal memory is from 2011, when I struggled to complete a routine during practice, crashing multiple times. It became a turning point, teaching me resilience and the value of trusting my training. That lesson paid off as I climbed the podium over the years—3rd in 2007, 2nd in 2009, and 1st in 2011. To all competitors in the final Flower Cup: cherish every moment, trust your training, and give it your all. You're making memories to last a lifetime!
Thank you for allowing me to be part of such an incredible legacy!
